GivingForce Supports Payroll Giving Week 2022

Payroll Giving is a scheme which allows employees to donate to charity from their salary tax-free. Contributions are deducted from gross pay before tax is calculated by the employer’s payroll department. Donating to charities directly through your salary is the most tax-efficient way to give.

GivingForce is a founding member of Payroll Giving Week. Through our work, we recognise just how important Payroll Giving is. Encouraging regular donations is vital for the future of charities. Charities big and small depend on the regular income that Payroll Giving provides as it allows them to plan their work including research, building projects, and giving practical help to those vulnerable and in need.

This year, National Payroll Giving Week is taking place on the 7-13th of February.

The aim of the week is to raise awareness within the sector and wider about the benefits of donating through this easy, tax-efficient method. Last year, hundreds of charities of all sizes and causes took part. This year we are hoping to build on this and get even more employers and charities on board.

Payroll Giving Week includes an Employers Toolkit which includes resources to promote payroll giving in your company. Here you’ll also find free assets for your business that can be used to celebrate the week and show your support.

Giving Force can help make your Payroll Giving quick and simple.
